A New Hampshire Woman Went Missing in 2020. Her Skeletal Remains Were Just Found on a Golf Course

The skeletal remains of a woman found on a golf course in New Hampshire have been identified as Amanda Grazewski.

The New Hampshire Department of Justice confirmed the news in a press release issued on Tuesday, March 25, adding that Grazewski had been missing since 2020.

“The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has positively identified the human skeletal remains located in the area of the Hoodkroft Country Club golf course in Derry on March 20, 2025, as belonging to Amanda Grazewski,” the department wrote. “Ms. Grazewski went missing from the area of Birch Street in Derry on March 17, 2020.”

The department added, “The investigation by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner and the Derry Police Department into the cause and manner of Ms. Grazewski’s death remains ongoing.” 

“Our thoughts are with Amanda Grazewski’s family during this incredibly difficult time. We extend our deepest sympathy to them,” Attorney General John M. Formella said in a statement.

“I also want to express my gratitude to the dedicated law enforcement and forensic professionals involved in this case, as well as to the community members who have provided valuable tips throughout this investigation,” he continued.

The Derry, NH Police Department also shared the same release by the New Hampshire Department of Justice on Facebook.

According to ABC News, police said Grazewski had been “staying with a friend on Birch Street” when she was last seen alive. 

She “reportedly left that residence in the early morning hours without her purse, cell phone or other belongings and has not been seen or heard from since,” according to a police statement, per ABC News.

CBS News also reported that she was 23 years old at the time of her disappearance. The outlet added that Grazewski’s family hired a drone pilot, who saw something near the Hoodkroft Country Club golf course, before alerting police on March 19.
