Hey all. Happy Friday and welcome to the KNIFE Magazine Weekend Open Thread, your one-stop shop for Knife Show listings, memes, and our weekly knife giveaway drawing.
Prior to the election, I was very careful to stay away from memes involving political figures with a few exceptions. The election is over, and it is somewhat impossible to find current event memes that aren’t political.
So we post these without endorsement or judgement, because they are darned funny.
It was a very short trade war.
Again, I have no idea if this will come back to bite us or not.
I am just here for the memes.

As I have every week since October 7th, 2023, I am taking a minute to call for the release of the Israeli hostages, voice my support of Israel, and push back on the antisemitism that is so openly celebrated in the West.
Thankfully several more were released this week, though their ordeal and the suffering they have been through makes my blood boil.

But through the hearbreak, we have tried to find a few bright spots.

His Hairness had a proposal that had diplomats around the world reaching for the antacid.
I don’t take the proposal seriously, rather see it as an effort to move the Overton window, and break the deadlock.
