This is one of those 19th-century weapons that makes you wonder what problem the inventor thought he was solving and whether that problem actually existed.
The concept is straightforward: a 19 1/2 inch double-fullered sword blade with a pinfire revolver built into the hilt. You’ve got a cutting weapon and a firearm in one package, which sounds practical until you think about it for more than five seconds. The revolver mechanism is chambered in 9mm pinfire, giving you six shots of marginal stopping power attached to a blade.
