Jack Wolf is losing no time in getting its diversifying its offerings and price points. They have just released the K9 Jack into both their mid-range Steel Series line, as well as making a variation which is the first entry in their new Ultralight Series.
This is not the first rodeo for this particular model. The K9 Jack is, naturally, the Jack Wolf Knives homage to the dogleg pattern, so named for the characteristic curve in its handle – not unlike the joint and angle of a canine’s ambulatory appendage. The original K9 Jack run released under Jack Wolf’s main line, which is to say fully dressed in high-end materials and steel – the price point that, until somewhat recently, all Jack Wolf pieces released at.
I don’t know too much about Jack Wolf Knives, other than there is buzz about them at Blade Show. This latest release looks like it is ready to take on Rosecraft in the high-quality import slipjoint category.
