GiantMouse recently released a big surprise for slipjoint fans. The Jutland, a folding knife in the EDC/hunter categories, has been transformed into a compact modern slipjoint.
The Jutland has been a GiantMouse cast member for nearly three years now. In the company’s diverse lineup of everyday carry pieces and classy users, the Jutland had a distinctive outdoor bent with its rugged mid-size blade and roomy handle. The Jutland actually originated in the GM8, a limited edition, now long-gone release, but even that collector-oriented predecessor had obvious camping/hiking/hunting knife chops.
Funny that their new knife is a slipjoint, as Jens Anso is no longer with the company. His Spyderco Pingo is my favorite Euro-centric non-locking folder.
