Hey everyone, it seems like SHOT Show was ages ago, when in truth it has been about 9 weeks. Given that our March issue press deadline is two days after the show, it is the April issue where we can actually run it in print. Such is the limitation of the medium.
But it is here now, and we are very proud of it.

From the very first Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trades show in 1979, the SHOT Show emerged as the singularly best time and place for major announcements to be made in related industries such as cutlery. Despite inroads being made by way of the internet and other events such as the Blade Show, the annual January gathering, currently held in Las Vegas, remains the show at which many knife companies release their new products for the new year.
Like the SHOT Show is itself a tradition, we at KNIFE Magazine have made it our tradition to attend and check out the new releases for ourselves, reporting on the highlights in an article just like the one you are reading now. So, without further ado, here’s what we consider the best and brightest blades of the 2026 SHOT Show
