Blade Show 2025 is a wrap, and there’s a lot to go over this week, so buckle up. Today we’re going to highlight two incoming collaboration models from WE Knife Co., each from a superstar maker.

Krait Snake

Any follower of custom knives will be able to pin the Krait Snake on the correct creator. It is indeed a Tashi Bharucha design, and from tip to tail it embodies his particular style. The blade is a talon-esque modified wharncliffe, with a harpoon swedge and the low-profile, square-head flipper tab that Bharucha favors. The Krait Snake prototypes have a blade length of 3.34 inches, so assuming those specs hold steady into full production this will slot easily into a high-end EDC flipper role.

Again, the Bharucha house style comes through loud and clear on the handle, which its major humpback profile and (mostly) hard-angled outer linework. Big chamfers add a bit of organic softness to the design, and there is a big curved finger groove under the guard, which is also where the inset liner lock is accessed.

Tighe Down

Yes, Canadian knife maestro Brian Tighe is here with his first ever We Knife collaboration, the Tighe Down (as wordplay aficionados we have to admire Tighe’s commitment to wringing as much lexical mischief out of his last name as possible).

The blade is a big’un, hitting that 4-inch mark, and it has a profile with all sorts of high-tech fixings: a compound grind, harpoon swedge, even a bit of a recurve. Like the Krait Snake it opens with a flipper, but unlike that knife it uses a button lock, housed in an integral handle with Tighe’s signature sweeping handle patterning. It’s all titanium, of course – except for the rose pattern carbon fiber inlays, one on each side.
