Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. has launched a new model of the Ruger LC Carbine, now chambered for the 10mm pistol cartridge. This updated version features a 16.25-inch threaded barrel, an adjustable folding stock, folding sights and ambidextrous controls. When the stock is set to the shortest length of pull, the overall length of the LC Carbine measures just 28.6 inches. The design is based on the .45 ACP LC Carbine and includes both right- and left-hand bolt releases, an octagonal handguard, a reversible magazine release and compatibility with a variety of standard Glock-pattern 10mm magazines.

The LC Carbine is equipped with an aluminum free-float handguard that includes M-Lok attachment slots and QD attachment points for slings, alongside a full-length Picatinny rail suitable for AR-height optics. The reversible folding stock features an adjustable length-of-pull and can be easily swapped out for AR-pattern stocks. The top of the receiver incorporates a Picatinny rail for extensive accessory compatibility. The carbine can also be disassembled without tools, simplifying cleaning and maintenance.

Using Ruger’s Secure Action fire-control mechanism, the LC Carbine combines a protected internal hammer with a bladed-safety trigger, delivering a short, smooth trigger pull, a clean break and a positive reset.
