Sturm, Ruger & Company has released its new Collector Series Models for 2025. Even though Ruger has launched Collector Series firearms in the past, those have usually consisted of only Ruger 10/22 rifles. This year is the eighth edition of the Collector Series, and Ruger is shaking things up by launching two additional pistol models for 2025. The three firearms in this lineup are a Ruger 10/22 carbine, a Ruger Mark IV 22/45 pistol and a Ruger Super Wrangler rimfire revolver.

Because they’re special edition items and part of Ruger’s 2025 Collector Series, The 10/22 Sporter stock features an oak leaf and basket weave design. The Mark IV and Super Wrangler boast wood grip panels that feature the same attractive design. Each model will ship with a limited edition 2025 Collector’s Series metal license plate, decal and a lapel pin.

These three models represent some of Ruger’s best-selling and most popular rimfire firearms. The Ruger Mark IV 22/45 is the direct descendant of the Ruger Standard, Bill Ruger’s original .22 LR rimfire pistol that he first started selling back in 1949. This pistol was the reason Sturm, Ruger & Company Inc. first entered business. Amongst rimfire pistol designs, the core elements from the original Ruger Standard are present in the current Ruger Mark IV 22/45.

Similarly, the Ruger 10/22 family of semi-automatic rimfire rifles and carbines continues to be one of the most impactful models from Ruger. Beyond the basic and affordably priced offering and 10/22 trims that end up becoming many kids’ first semi-automatic .22 rifles, the layout and Ruger 10/22 design also serves as the foundation for many specialized and high performance accurized aftermarket custom builds and components.

Finally, Ruger is also famous for both its single action and doubled action revolvers. Ruger has always offered a wide diversity of revolvers in various calibers from the smallest and tamest rimfire models to those that can be used to hunt big game or for protection from deep backwoods predators. The Super Wrangler is a full-size single action rimfire revolver that can shoot either .22 LR or .22 WMR.
