Ford is going Coastal. The latest special bundle of goodies for the Ford Bronco is called the Bronco Coastal Package. It’s a bundle of interesting extras, including another epic stripe package.
But this collection of goodies won’t come cheap — especially if you’re planning on adding it to your order before you take delivery.
Ford Custom Garage Sells This Bronco Coastal Package
The Ford Custom Garage site is quickly filling up with add-on packages for your Bronco, Bronco Sport, and F-150 pickup. The packages go from mild, like the Matte Black Bronco package with its black accents, to wild in the form of a 700-horsepower F-150. That FP700S is still a concept, but the Bronco Coastal Package is available now.
It starts with a new set of wheels. The 17-inch wheels are finished in Iconic Silver. The wheels match the new fender flares, which offer a very cool upgrade over the gray plastic of every other Bronco on the road.
A new silver grille matches up with the wheels and the flares. It makes this look like a luxury Bronco, a lot like paint-matched bumpers and wheels on a pickup instead of contrast black parts.
The Bronco Coastal Package also comes with a Ford Performance lift. It brings the ride height up 2.0 inches from stock, with new springs and shocks giving you some extra clearance.
BYOT: Bring Your Own Tires

Since most Bronco owners who pick this package will need new tires anyway, the lift means the perfect opportunity for taller rubber. The kit assumes you’ll have the 33-inch all-terrain tires from the Badlands model. If you don’t, you’ll need to source some (here are our suggestions).
If you leave the standard Base, Big Bend, or Outer Banks tires on the 17s, the speedometer won’t be right. At least Ford includes its ProCal tool so you can fix it.
The two coolest parts of the kit are the roof and the stickers. The roof is a flat bimini-style top with a Bronco logo in the middle. It’s also clear, so it will keep (some) of the rain off of you and out of the cabin, but it will still let in lots of sun.
The stickers are a three-color graphic in a cool retro style — a slightly more modern take than the 1970s Free Wheeling graphics Ford has already offered on the Bronco. They, along with the cool new roof, might be the best part of this rig.
Bronco Coastal Package Is a Pricey One

If you really want to take your Bronco coastal, you can add some Ford Performance tube doors. That’ll really get you the open-air experience with every drive. This is clearly aimed at the Southern California and Florida beach lifestyle, and not, say, New England or the Pacific Northwest, where you’ll want to keep plenty of cold- and wet-weather gear on hand, not tube doors.
The pricetag is more Erewhon than beach bum. Order it solo, and the package costs $5,400. You’ll likely need to add tires to that, and you’ll need to install it. Add the package to your order for dealer installation, and it’ll set you back $8,500. That’s a steep price for labor, but it will let you keep your full Ford warranty.
The Bronco Coastal Package is available to order now on all Broncos, two- and four-door, I4 and V6, except for the Free Wheeling, Raptor, Sasquatch, and Stroppe models.
