Ram is looking for X to mark the spot. The 2026 Ram 1500 Rebel X is aimed at a luxury spot, with a panoramic roof, a glass-covered console badge, and special seat trim. But it’s also the only Ram 1500 to get the brand’s low-speed rough-road cruise control system, and it debuts a new paint color to make it more than just a carry-over.
Rebel X Marked 10 Years of Styling Package

In 2025, Ram released the Rebel X as a 10th anniversary of its Rebel trim grade. Rebel was the model it launched in 2015 to add a bit more styling attitude to the brand, or at least make it even tougher to find exactly the truck you wanted. The original package also came with some off-road-focused enhancements.
Rebel X returns this year, even if the X no longer means 10. Now it’s just an upgrade because buyers liked the package last year.
2026 Ram 1500 Rebel X Is More of the Same

The Ram 1500 Rebel X starts with a Rebel Level 2 package truck. Rebel gets you a suspension lift with Bilstein shocks, skid plates, and an electronic locking rear. Level 1 adds comfort features like power folding mirrors, and Level 2 gives you the larger center screen, a screen for the passenger, and power seats.
Rebel X adds Rough Road Cruise Control. The system does more than just control your speed on the trail; it also adjusts the shocks and steering weight based on the terrain. It’s the only grade of Ram 1500 truck that gets it.
The Rebel X package also adds the red-accented Rebel X console badge and bucket seats with red accent stitching, plus the dual-pane panoramic roof. You get Rebel X graphics on the bedsides and a “performance shifter.”
Rebel X Gives You More Stuff for Less Cash

“Rebel X was a customer favorite last year, so we’re bringing it back for more,” said Ram boss Tim Kuniskis. The truck comes with the 420-horsepower standard-output 3.0L Hurricane I6, not the Kuniskis favorite 5.7L Hemi V8.
The 2026 Ram Rebel X starts from $71,930, including the $2,595 destination fee, which makes the package a bit of a bargain. The Level 2 package Rebel with the sunroof added on starts from $73,580, including destination fee.
Ram’s latest Rebel will also debut a brand-new paint color. It’s called Tank Clear-Coat, and it’s a military-inspired green. It will be available on the Rebel X, along with some other models in the Ram 1500 lineup, this year. Order books for the X are now open.
