DroneShield Receives 2024 HIRE Vets Medallion Award from the U.S. Department of Labor
Warrenton, Virginia – U.S. Acting Secretary of Labor, Julie A. Su, recognized DroneShield as a recipient of the gold HIRE Vets Medallion Award. The Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans Act (HIRE Vets Act) Medallion Program is the only federal award program that recognizes employers who are committed to veteran hiring, retention, and professional development in the United States.
DroneShield, headquartered in Warrenton, Virginia, and a pioneer in counterdrone technologies and solutions, recognizes the critical value veterans bring to the workforce, specifically in fields demanding high levels of discipline, technical expertise, and leadership. This is DroneShield’s third consecutive year as recipients of the HIRE Vets Medallion Award.
