Arktis Launches New Hurricane Wind Shirt
Exeter, Devon – 21st Jan 2025 – Arktis, is proud to announce the launch of its new wind shirt, the Hurricane Shirt. Serving as the windshell layer of the new Elite range, the Hurricane Shirt marks a continued launch of new and updated designs to its range as Arktis celebrates its 40th Anniversary this year.
Description
The ultimate fusion of lightweight comfort and robust windproof protection. Your first line of defence against wind and rain.
The A196 Hurricane Shirt incorporates some of the best elements of three of our favourite products. It introduces new features and design aspects from our Elite Jackets onto the Stowaway’s simple frame while adding an upgraded front pocket courtesy of developments to our Mammoth Shirt. All this merges together while maintaining the quality and design our customers love.
The new hood features the same 3-point adjustment found in our Vulcan and Stealth, with a combination wire and foam peaked hood. We have added Velcro adjustment to the cuffs and modified the bottom hem with a side-set anchored cinch to support the new dropped rear hem.
The Hurricane Shirt offers ample storage with two stacked front pockets. The first is a top-access zip pocket that can store small items and devices and serves as the stuff sack for the shirt. The second pocket behind the first is a hoodie-style pocket with a zip closure, perfect for warming your hands.
All zips on the Hurricane Shirt come with storm flaps for extra protection and are YKK-branded.
