Surge Capacity: How Anduril Delivered a Month of Production in a Week In under a week in March 2026, Anduril delivered more than a full month’s of Pulsar production output off the shelf and directly into active operations for two U.S. government customers. These systems were immediately installed for fixed-site EW protection and aircraft survivability. While the surge was underway, Anduril was already doubling its EW production capacity — a line that once delivered 500 Pulsars per year now delivers 1000. Anduril built Pulsar to interrogate a wider range of the electromagnetic spectrum autonomously, deploy software updates in hours rather…

Prolific knifemeister Grzegorz Grabarski is seeing his latest Bestech collab model roll out, the Wet Nellie. The name is admittedly pretty weird, but the piece itself is a buttoned-up, stylized mid-sized flipper. Honestly, the name sounds like it would belong to some forgotten traditional knife pattern, rather than futuristic piece we have before us. The Wet Nellie’s blade is an elegant, 3.53-inch drop point, very low slung with just a kiss of belly and a nicely tapered tip. It will be a familiar shape to any user with any knife experience, and an intuitive one even to those without. Opening…

So there I was, minding my own business on Facebook, when I stumbled upon a post in a knife group where one of the other members was unloading a bunch of their knives. I was scrolling through the pictures when one really stood out to me. It was a stout little bugger with blue Micarta handles and a sheepsfoot blade — for $40! I did a quick Google search of the image, and it came up as a Petrified Fish Flavorist. Who in the what now? Anyway, I reached out to the guy selling it, and he was happy to…

After nearly 30 years as a grisly landmark on the North Side of Everest, the body known as “Green Boots” is the target of a recovery effort by Indian authorities. The Indo–Tibetan Border Police has issued a call for experienced high-altitude teams to bring down the remains. At roughly 27,800 feet, the body is located very high on the mountain, in the highly dangerous “death zone.” It’s also on the Northeast Ridge route on the Tibetan side of the mountain, but the team still hopes to return the remains to India by October. This would be no ordinary operation. Authorities…

Colt Michigan (June 29, 2026) – Colt Electro Optics LLC (“Colt Optics”) today announced the launch of its first family of red dot optics, including the MRS-1 enclosed-emitter pistol red dot, the CSQ-1 rifle red dot, and the C3X-1 3x magnifier. Modern shooters demand speed, reliability, and confidence in their equipment. Whether mounted on a duty pistol, patrol rifle, or personal-defense firearm, an optic should help the shooter focus on the target, not fight the limitations of the sight itself. The MRS-1, CSQ-1, and C3X-1 were developed around a common philosophy: help shooters acquire targets faster, maintain awareness, and perform…

As a snowboarder who likes riding aggressively, I’ve been dreaming of an ultimate snowboard boot that blends comfort and performance. Since my first time using a BOA-dial boot, I knew a double BOA would be better. Once double BOA dials became the industry norm, it was only a matter of time before the next benchmark: A triple BOA snowboard boot. Finally, Burton released the Highshot X Pro for its Step On snowboard binding line, bringing with it the mythical high-performance third BOA dial. Yes, these boots only work with Burton’s Step On binding system. But, these boots bring next-level responsiveness,…

By Beyond Seclusion Posted in #Guns Before we begin, let’s just address the elephant in the room. What is “long-range” with a pistol, especially in a caliber like .380? That is a fair question, so let’s just start with the simple fact it is FUN to see how far we can go, to push our skills and develop our technique for shooting accurate/tight groups at appropriate distances. While we all have different definitions of what “fun” is, for me it’s not mag dumping at five yards, even if that is an appropriate target-engagement distance backed by statistical…

SIG SAUER Advanced Concepts Update I caught up with SIG SAUER Advanced Concepts at SOF Week where they were showing some new developments. Up until recently they had been concentrating on Elite Training for drones and capability integration with existing systems. However, behind the scenes they were prototyping both new payloads as well as complete drones. They currently have a quad copter design called the R3 Saber with 3.5 propellers as well as the fixed wing Scythe. As you ca. see, the body is 3D printed and the Saber offers a 1300 gram payload capacity. As for payloads, they have…
