A 9-year-old boy was shot and killed in front of his grandfather’s home over the weekend, his family has said. The shooting was reported on Saturday, Nov. 30, just after 7:30 p.m., per NBC4 Los Angeles, KABC and KTLA. It occurred on Haskins Avenue in Compton, Calif., NBC4 Los Angeles reported, citing the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD). A South Carolina woman accused of killing a bride on her wedding day while driving drunk in April 2023 has reportedly pleaded guilty to four criminal charges related to the incident. Local WCBD, WCSC, and WCNC reported that Jamie Lee Komoroski pleaded guilty Monday afternoon to a felony charge for a DUI causing death, two felony charges for a DUI causing great bodily injury, and another charge for reckless homicide. A 16-year-old in Kentucky has been charged after allegedly attacking his aunt during a heated argument on Thanksgiving. Oregon officials believe they’ve discovered the bodies of two dogs who belonged to a 61-year-old woman who was found slain over the weekend. Susan Lane-Fournier’s remains were discovered on Nov. 29 alongside a rural highway in northwest Oregon, near vacation cabins and hiking trails in the area of Mount Hood.
