A Kentucky man is accused of murdering a 18-month-old child he had been watching after the child suffered several serious injuries. Police in Elizabethtown, Ky., say that Terrance Corbin, 20, was watching the child, as well as a 3-year-old, on Jan. 7 with no other adults present, according to a press release sent to PEOPLE. A report from an Arizona government entity suggesting that the best way to protect the state’s children from so-called “gun violence” is to “remove all firearms in households with children” is getting some major pushback from Republican state lawmakers. Ryan Pellum, a former Oregon Ducks wide receiver, was arrested on assault with a firearm charges on Friday for allegedly pistol-whipping a person in California on Christmas Day.Pellum, whose full name is Ryan Tristan Chance Taylor, was arrested in Springfield over the incident that took place in Long Beach, California, according to The Oregonian. A teenager has died after the car he was traveling in crashed into a sewage plant. The body of the 18-year-old boy was found “a few yards away” from a Volkswagen Golf discovered “partly submerged” at the water treatment facility in Castleford, England, on Sunday, Jan. 12, West Yorkshire Police stated in a release.
