Cesar Hernandez, 34, was being transported into the Kern County Superior Courthouse in Delano Monday morning when he jumped out of a prison transport van and fled the scene, evading attempts to re-apprehend him, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) said in a press release. The prisoner’s whereabouts remained unknown as of Tuesday afternoon. Hernandez was convicted of first-degree murder in 2019 in Los Angeles, and was sentenced to 25 years to life in state prison with…
The federal judge overseeing Hunter Biden’s gun trial terminated further court proceedings in his case on Tuesday, in the wake of President Biden’s sweeping pardon that shields his son from being prosecuted for all offenses that he “has committed or may have committed” from Jan. 1, 2014, through Dec. 1, 2024. U.S. Judge Maryellen Noreika, the presiding judge in Biden’s trial in Delaware, announced Tuesday the termination of all further proceedings in the case, citing the clemency grant signed by the outgoing president. Judge Noreika stopped short of dismissing the case outright, however, as requested by Hunter’s legal team. A Delaware jury found…

Their marriage crumbled not long after Ashley became pregnant with their daughter, and accused Doug of abuse, alleging that he tried to poison her. A judge later said there was no evidence behind Ashley’s claims. After several years of separations and reconciliations, Ashley shot…
