A brutal attack in Florida left one woman dead and her daughter in critical condition over the weekend. It all happened just before 2 a.m. on Saturday, April 12 when an individual broke into the home of Maguy Pouye in North Fort Lauderdale, according to a news release from the Broward Sheriff’s Office. An Ohio man who allegedly lied about training canines for the U.S. Border Patrol is accused of killing at least nine dogs in his care, authorities allege. A California mother is charged with murder following the death of her 4-year-old daughter in a car crash. Juliette Marie Acosta, 26, was first charged with driving under the influence after she allegedly crashed into an irrigation canal on March 8 near Hickman, Calif., the Stanislaus County District Attorney’s Office said in a press release.
