An Ohio man is dead following an encounter with police after he abducted his 7-year-old non-custodial daughter from a relative’s house, authorities said. On Monday, Nov. 11, at about 3 p.m., Charles Alexander, 43, took the girl from a relative’s house in Empire following an argument and a physical altercation, the Associated Press reports. Five people are being sought by authorities after a celebrity chef was among those shot during an apparent robbery in Maryland. The 2023 murder of an Idaho woman was solved with the help of an unlikely source: the victim’s dog. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has suspended flights between the U.S. and Haiti after a Spirit Airlines flight and a JetBlue flight were struck by gang-related gunfire.The FAA issued a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) about the suspension Tuesday afternoon.
