A woman is on trial in Georgia in connection with the 2020 fatal stabbing of her 13-month-old daughter, which prosecutors allege in court she carried out to be with her “polygamist cult” husband.  Authorities found Hannah Nicole Driver with stab wounds in the bedroom of a Cherokee County, Ga., home on Dec. 8, 2020, the Canton Police Department said at the time. A Missouri woman is facing a murder charge in connection with the death of her 14-year-old daughter last month.  Jacquelyn Renee Powers faces a charge of first-degree endangering the welfare of a child and death of a child after her daughter died from an alleged fentanyl overdose on Oct. 3, in St. Louis County, Mo., according to an arrest affidavit obtained by PEOPLE. The Texas mother who abandoned her three children in a home to live with their slain 8-year-old brother’s decomposing remains has been sentenced for her role in the boy’s death, authorities said.  Gloria Williams, 38, was sentenced to 50 years in prison after pleading guilty in October to two charges of injury to a child in connection with the death of her 8-year-old son Kendrick Lee at the family’s Houston apartment, the Harris County District Attorney’s Office said in a news release shared on Wednesday, Nov. 13. A Michigan mother is charged with murder after her 2-year-old daughter was found dead on Thursday, Nov. 7. WWMT, WSBT and Sturgis Journal reported that Paige Bohne, 21, was arrested and charged with open murder by authorities in St. Joseph County, Mich., who accuse her of killing her daughter, Octavia. Authorities have arrested and charged a man suspected of leaking classified documents that described Israel’s preparations for a possible attack against Iran, according to a New York Times report.The Times report names U.S. government employee Asif William Rahman as the suspect.
