Jacksonville, Alabama – Bear OPS, the tactical division of Bear & Son Cutlery, introduces the Nekema™ II, a purpose-built everyday carry knife designed to meet the demands of concealed carry, tactical use, and hard daily wear. Made in the USA at Bear OPS’ facility in Jacksonville, Alabama, the Nekema II reflects the brand’s uncompromising approach to quality, performance, and reliability.

At the core of the Nekema™ II is a 3.5-inch Sandvik® 14C28N stainless steel blade, offered with a modified drop-point profile. Known for its excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening, 14C28N is an ideal steel for serious EDC users. A durable DLC coating model further enhances corrosion resistance, minimizes glare, and protects against scratches in harsh environments.

The lightweight aluminum handle keeps the knife slim, strong, and comfortable, weighing just 3.5 ounces for effortless all-day carry. Precision features include ball-bearing washers for smooth deployment, dual thumb studs, Torx® screw construction, and a secure slide-lock mechanism. A reversible pocket clip ensures adaptable carry options.

Available in Black & Copper or Gray & Blue, the Nekema™ II delivers American-made performance at an MSRP of $92.49–$97.49—proving once again why Bear OPS is trusted by professionals and everyday carriers alike.

The Bear & Son Cutlery factory is unique. It is full self-contained. While some companies only assemble parts brought from various suppliers and put their names on the product, Bear & Son Cutlery does everything in-house from building their own blanking dies to heat treating, grinding and assembly, and hand finishing products. These steps ensure that Bear & Son Cutlery is of excellent quality and a real value for both the dealer and consumer. Their ongoing commitment is to make them in America and make them affordable.
