The vascular surgeon accused of murdering his ex-wife and her husband over the holidays at their home in Columbus showed no emotion while being booked into an Ohio jail last month.
Michael McKee, 39, is seen arriving at the Franklin County jail just before 4 p.m. on Jan. 20, in a series of videos obtained by PEOPLE.
He arrived at the jail 10 days after he was first booked into custody at the Winnebago County Jail in Illinois following his arrest by federal agents on Jan. 10.
McKee is seen in the video stripping down to shorts and a shirt so that he can be thoroughly examined by deputies, who check inside his mouth and give him a full body patdown before bringing him into the jail facility.
Throughout the entire process McKee does not appear to say much other than to ask for instructions from the deputies.
At the end of the search he is provided with a pair of rubber slide-on sandals and hands over a bag containing what appears to be his personal effects.
McKee is accused of murdering Monique and Spencer Tepe, who were killed in the pre-dawn hours of Dec. 30 as their two children, then 3 and 17 months, slept just a few feet away.
Police found the two dead inside their home after receiving a series of panicked calls from Spencer’s co-workers.
Monique, 39, had at least one apparent gunshot wound to the chest and Spencer, 37, had multiple apparent gunshot wounds, according to a police report.
McKee was arrested on Jan. 10 after investigators linked him to a vehicle that could be seen on neighborhood surveillance cameras arriving near the crime scene just before Monique and Spencer were killed, and then leaving shortly after.
He was taken into custody by federal agents at a Chick-fil-A in Rockford, Ill.
A subsequent search of his property resulted in the discovery of multiple weapons, including one that Columbus Police Chief Elaine Bryant said was similar to the weapon that investigators suspect was used to kill Monique and Spencer.
McKee made his first court appearance in Ohio a few days after being booked into the Franklin County Jail.
The 39-year-old surgeon appeared remotely from jail as his attorney entered a not guilty plea on his behalf to four counts of aggravated murder and a single count of aggravated burglary.

Soon after, a probable cause affidavit was released by prosecutors revealing that McKee allegedly broke onto the Tepes’ property three weeks before the murders.
He had also made threats to Monique both during and after their relationship, various friends and family members previously alleged to PEOPLE.
One friend alleged that he had made threats of violence and suggested he would cause harm to Monique should she ever leave him.
McKee allegedly drove 900 miles on the night Monique and Spencer were killed, just weeks after their fifth wedding anniversary.

Police say he left Rockford around 5 p.m. on Dec. 29 and then returned there immediately after, arriving by noon the next day,
The entire trip took less than 17 hours, and it was the silver SUV he allegedly drove that day which allowed police to track him down and make the arrest.
