Authorities in Georgia are searching for a man wanted in a disturbing animal cruelty case and hope the public can help identify him.
Last summer, two dogs were found dead on one of the decks at the parking garage at Atlantic Station in Atlanta, the Fulton County Police Department said in a statement.
On July 22, 2025 at 2:30 p.m., an unidentified man, whose image was captured in surveillance footage, was seen walking a “tan male mixed-breed dog and a dark brindle and white female mixed-breed dog” to the Atlantic Station parking deck on the corner of 16th St. NW and Fowler St. NW, police said in the statement.
“He then sexually assaulted both dogs and killed them,” police alleged in the statement.
He was last seen leaving the location on foot heading West on 16th St. NW, without the dogs.
The suspect has tattoo sleeves on both arms, a gray goatee, and is between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall.
According to authorities, the dogs were found with their leashes tied together, WSB-TV reports.
Necropsies performed on both dogs by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the University of Georgia concluded that they were strangled to death, investigators said, WSB-TV reports.

“We’re hoping that somebody is going to recognize him,” Captain Nicole Dwyer with Fulton County Police Department’s Animal Services Unit told WSB-TV. “This is a pretty sickening crime, and we want to get him into custody, so he doesn’t commit this again, or, you know, escalate to a human.”
The suspect, Dwyer said, “is a very disturbed individual and a danger to the public.”
Anyone with information about the suspect or the dogs is asked contact Captain N. Dwyer at 470-312-3090 or at [email protected].
