6th-Grade Teacher Used AI to Generate Child Sex Abuse Materials and Photographed Himself Sexually Abusing Family Pet By Liam Quinn

A Florida sixth grade teacher who used AI to generate child sex abuse materials was sentenced to 135 years in prison.

David McKeown was arrested in June and charged with aggravated possession of child sexual abuse images, possession of child sexual abuse images and sexual conduct with an animal, according to the Holly Hill Police Department.

Police said they received a tip and subsequently searched McKeown’s devices in both his home and at the school where he worked. Authorities also searched his social media accounts and found “19 images of child sex abuse materials and six images of sexual activities involving animals.”

McKeown further used his social media accounts to send messages to other users and shared his students’ personal information, while also sending their photos using AI to generate child sex abuse materials, per the police department.

Police also discovered McKeown created animal pornography by taking pictures of himself engaging in sexual acts with his family pet.

According to the police department, McKeown was sentenced to 135 years in prison. Previously he had entered an open plea to the charges and was found guilty.

McKeown was a sixth grade teacher at the United Brethren In Christ Academy in Holly Hill, Fla.
