Attendees will also get a closer look at the XR Sod Buster® Jr., another Crossroads release first unveiled earlier this year at the Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show in Las Vegas.
The Crossroads Series reimagines classic Case patterns with tougher materials, precision construction and modern details — and brings them together at Case’s only factory in Bradford, Pa. True to the brand’s “Tradition Meets Innovation” promise, these knives blend heritage style with contemporary performance for today’s everyday carrier.
The XR Barlow is a rugged new interpretation of the popular pattern first introduced to Case customers in the early 1900s, engineered for the contemporary everyday carrier while honoring its classic shape. Lightweight Richlite® or Dymalux® wood handles pair with a stonewashed, rust-resistant S35VN steel blade for durability, resilience and pro-level performance. A G-10 “long bolster” feature carries the iconic “XX” marking for a timeless Case touch. Precision assembly with torque screws reinforces strength and performance.
The XR Sod Buster Jr., introduced in January, updates the traditional Case ’37 Sod Buster® Jr. with its own set of premium features. Options include burlap laminate, G-10 or laminated wood handles, along with a stonewashed S35VN stainless steel skinner blade. Torque screw assembly ensures long-term dependability.
“The Crossroads collection is a showcase of the innovation and tradition that makes Case one of the most sought-after knife brands in the world,” said Brent Tyler, Vice President of Global Marketing at Case. “We’re excited to head to Blade Show West to share details about these new updated classics with Case enthusiasts in Salt Lake City and across the U.S.”
Case will also display its latest fall and holiday offerings, including traditional folding pocket knives, modern everyday capable (EDC) models, fixed blade hunting knives and the full 2025 gift line.
