A Reality Star Is Accused of Killing Her Boyfriend — and a Skull Found by a Dog Has Been Confirmed as the Victim’s By Samira Asma-Sadeque

A human skull found by a dog has been to confirmed to be of a man whose reality TV star girlfriend is accused of beheading him.

Tamika Chesser, a former contestant on Beauty and the Geek Australia, was arrested after the beheaded body of her partner Julian Story was found in the couple’s South Australia home in June, the South Australia Police said at the time.

The skull was found in July by a dog, and the South Australian Police confirmed in a Thursday, Sept. 5 statement the skull belongs to Story.

The investigation began when authorities responding to a report of a small fire found the 39-year-old man’s remains — without his skull — in the couple’s apartment on June 19, police previously said.

Chesser, 34, was seen by a witness locking the unit and leaving with her dogs after she told the witness nothing was wrong, despite smoke coming out of her apartment, according to court documents cited by Australian broadcaster ABC.

Police say they believe Story was killed around June 17.

The skull was recovered on July 31.

Chesser, who has also modeled for Playboy and Ralph, was taken into custody without incident after police located her in the yard adjacent to her apartment in a “catatonic and unresponsive state,” per the court documents.

Police have released CCTV footage showing Chesser around the time Story is estimated to have been killed. They are requesting the public to come forward with any information they may have regarding Chesser’s movements on the night of the murder.

The investigation is ongoing.
