Burglars Break into Tracee Ellis Ross’ House, Stealing More Than $100,000 of Jewelry and Handbags By Madison E. Goldberg

Burglars broke into Tracee Ellis Ross’ Los Angeles home, stealing more than $100,000 worth of jewelry and handbags.

The burglary was reported at approximately 12:30 a.m. local time on Tuesday, Sept. 2, after staff members arrived at the residence and found it ransacked, local NBC affiliate KNBC reported. Police told the outlet that three individuals entered the home through a glass door.

Ross, 52, was not home at the time of the intrusion.

Police obtained footage from a home security camera, and the investigation remains ongoing.

The robbery is the latest in a string of celebrity home break-ins in Los Angeles this summer. In June, thieves broke into Brad Pitt’s Los Feliz residence through a window, also while he was out of town.

The burglary occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m. on June 25, the LAPD told PEOPLE at the time. The suspects “broke into the residence via the front window, ransacked the location, then fled the location with miscellaneous property,” police said. There were three suspects implicated, who were not publicly identified.

Earlier in 2025,  Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s Los Angeles home was burglarized on Valentine’s Day. Police sources told NBC News, ABC News and TMZ at the time that the burglars allegedly smashed a glass door or window to break in before ransacking the home and fleeing.
