A Miami powerlifting influencer who had previously been accused of leaking the nudes of her ex’s new girlfriend was arrested and accused of domestic battery.
Stefi Cohen, 33, a powerlifting champion with one million Instagram followers, was arrested on July 1 after she allegedly scratched her live-in boyfriend, according to a Miami police arrest affidavit obtained by PEOPLE.
The incident allegedly started when, during a heated argument, the victim said he tried to leave after learning Cohen was allegedly recording their conversation on her laptop, the affidavit stated.
Cohen allegedly accused the victim of stealing her phone, having seen him grab his own and put it in his pocket, police said.
The victim said that Cohen began scratching him and at one point tore his pants pocket, according to the affidavit.
Police said the victim had multiple scratches visible on his forehead, face, neck, chest and stomach.
When interviewing Cohen, police said the influencer claimed the victim had struck her on the right eye with a closed fist and scratched her face. But an examination by police revealed that she only had a visible scratch on her bicep, according to the affidavit.
Cohen was subsequently arrested and charged with misdemeanor battery. It is not immediately clear if she has entered a plea or retained an attorney.
In 2024, Cohen was arrested after police claimed she hacked into the laptop of her ex and released nude photos of his new girlfriend, according to a separate arrest affidavit obtained by PEOPLE. The incident was reported by the woman in 2023.
