  • Abrianna Clark, 27, is charged with second-degree reckless homicide after allegedly shoving a 76-year-old resident at a senior care facility
  • While Clark initially admitted to pushing the resident, she later denied it during a police interview
  • Clark has posted bail and is prohibited from working with the elderly pending a June 3 court hearing

A Wisconsin woman who worked at a senior care facility is facing a reckless homicide charge for allegedly shoving a 76-year-old resident, leading to her death, according to authorities.

Abrianna Clark, 27, of Milwaukee, is facing homicide charges after a facility director at StoryPoint Senior Living reported that an elderly resident had broken her hip after allegedly being shoved by Clark, according to reporting from local outlets Fox 6 Now, TMJ4 and Law & Crime.

When officers arrived at the senior care facility on Nov. 14, 2024, the facility director told officers that a week earlier, Clark allegedly pushed the elderly victim to the ground, according to Fox 6 Now, citing a criminal complaint. When officers asked what happened, Clark said approximately five times, “I pushed her,” Fox 6 Now reported, based on the complaint.

According to the complaint, Clark said the 76-year-old called her names, “hit her with a ruler and broke her glasses,” per the outlet. One witness reported that Clark allegedly said, “If anybody snitch on me, I’m going to get on that,” per the complaint, adding that the elderly victim was fearful of Clark.

During a police interview, Clark denied pushing the woman and claimed she found her on the bathroom floor and helped move her to a chair with another staff member, according to TMJ4, who cited authorities.

The 76-year-old woman died on Jan. 27, 2025 from complications related to her hip fracture, the outlet reported, citing a criminal complaint.

Clark has been charged with second degree reckless homicide and is facing an increased penalty for the victim being an elderly person, according to online court records.

Online court records show that Clark’s bond was set at $12,500 on May 21. She posted bail the next day and was ordered to not contact StoryPoint Senior Living or anyone who works there and to not work in a position involving elderly people.

Clark is due back in court for a hearing on June 3, according to her court records.
