Case Knives was started out of the back of a wagon in Upstate New York in 1889. As such, the knifemaking brand is practically synonymous with American heritage.
Technically, that makes it older than the Appalachian Trail — another fundamental piece of Americana. So, it makes sense that Case would want to help celebrate the Appalachian Trail Conservancy’s 100th anniversary.
Nothing earthshaking here, but I like the way the author used “Americana” as the tie between the knife and the trail.
