Sean “Diddy” Combs reportedly made Casandra “Cassie” Ventura refer to him as “Pop Pop” — the name she called her own grandfather.
Ventura, who is 17 years younger than Combs, testified in court on Tuesday, May 13, about her years-long relationship with the music mogul who’s now on trial for sex-crimes and racketeering.
The couple were in an on-again, off-again relationship for 11 years during which, Ventura alleges, Combs abused her and forced her into sexual encounters against her will, including urinating in her mouth and making her engage in “Freak Offs” — sex parties that could last days on end.
On Tuesday, which marked the second day of Combs’ trial, Ventura told the jury that Combs had asked what she called her grandfather. According to Ventura, she called him “Pop Pop” — and began calling Combs that as well.
“I did it but now I think it was disrespectful,” Ventura said.
Combs’ family members have been present on both days of the trial to express their support for him. On the first day of the trial, his three daughters walked out of the courtroom during the testimony of a male escort, who provided graphic details of Combs’ sexual encounters, including allegations he abused Ventura.
Combs has pleaded not guilty to charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.
