Hot off its release of the ELEMNT ACE in December, Wahoo announced new versions of the ELEMNT BOLT and ELEMNT ROAM, plus the new TRACKR RADAR rear light. Here’s the catch: the computers won’t be available until May, and there is no release date for the TRACKR RADAR yet.

Wahoo said its three computers are designed to target three different styles of rider. The new rear light automatically brightens or darkens as you slow down or as a car comes into closer proximity. While GearJunkie has not tested any of these releases just yet, the initial info looks intriguing.

Want a deeper dive? GearJunkie editors awarded the ELEMNT ACE, and previous versions of the ROAM and BOLT, in our roundup of the Best Bike Computers.

Wahoo Bike Computers: ACE, ROAM, and BOLT

Wahoo says it rounded out its outdoor range for 2025 with the third versions of its ELEMNT ROAM and ELEMNT BOLT bike computers, alongside the already released ELEMNT ACE computer. And with the TRACKR RADAR, it also took a swing at its first rear light and radar.

Each computer focuses on a different riding experience. The ELEMNT ACE targets tech lovers with its wind drag sensor — and it’s a winner. Meanwhile, the ROAM 3 eyes endurance and adventure bikers with a larger, glove-friendly touchscreen. Finally, the BOLT 3 centers on a compact, lighter-weight design for racing and training.

Availability & Pricing

Both the BOLT 3 and ROAM 3 received screen and battery life updates. The BOLT will now hold a 2.3-inch screen with a higher contrast display. Previous versions held a 2.2-inch screen.

According to Wahoo, this makes the screens easier to read in all conditions, especially in bright sunlight. This version of the BOLT also gains extra battery life (from 15 hours to 20 hours), Wahoo said. The BOLT V3 will be available on May 6 for $330.

The ROAM’s latest version will sport a screen 22% larger than the BOLT at 2.8 inches. That’s just a hair larger than the second version’s 2.7-inch screen. However, the ROAM will be the only option with a touchscreen. Wahoo claims this gives the ROAM higher resolution, anti-glare, and enhanced contrast with glove compatibility.

It also boasts that the latest ROAM can last up to 25 hours, after previous versions lasted around 17 hours. That’s a significant increase in battery life that could make a big impact on bikepacking and multiday cycling tours.

The last big update Wahoo cited was ROAM’s ability to connect with even more third-party apps more easily. It will retail for $450, also launching on May 6.

New Rear Light: Wahoo TRACKR RADAR

Alongside the lineup of bike computers, Wahoo also announced the release of its first radar/light. At $200, Wahoo claims the TRACKR RADAR can detect rear-approaching cars and increase the flash pattern upon sensing them.

The brand said a built-in accelerometer also functions as a brake light, automatically increasing brightness when the rider slows down.

Wahoo said the TRACKR RADAR will interface with its ELEMNT siblings for a better user experience and can also connect with other Bluetooth or ANT+ bike computers.

In a battery extender mode, which reduces luminosity when no cars are detected, the battery will last up to 20 hours, Wahoo said. Wahoo has the TRACKR RADAR listed on its site, but has given no release date just yet.
