Stoeger Industries has unveiled the new Stoeger M3000 Tactical, a 12 gauge shotgun outfitted with black polymer furniture that cycles shotshells using the inertia-driven Benelli-style action. These action, which is reliable and runs cleanly, use few moving parts and can cycle virtually all shotgun ammunition as long as it is rated with a muzzle velocity of over 1200 feet per second, which applies to most slug and defensive buckshot on the market.

Because the new Stoeger M3000 Tactical is meant to serve as a tactical shotgun, it’s outfitted with an 18.5-inch barrel and has a pedestal for its front sight post and a rear adjustable ghost-ring sight. Like many other tactical shotguns, especially those sold at higher price-points, the Stoeger M3000 Tactical also includes a Picatinny base. In addition to that, the receivers on all new 2025 Stoeger tactical shotguns (pump or semi) include a factory-milled optics cut that takes Trijicon RMR or Burris pattern footprint plates in order to easily mount contemporary micro red-dot sights.

The receiver on the M3000 Tactical is has a tungsten grey Cerakote finish. The furniture set on this new shotgun includes built in QD sockets on the stock along with three M-LOK slots on either side. In addition to this, the stock is reprofiled with a more vertical wrist angle and shorter length of pull for tactical shooting in comparison to the longer stocks found on sporting shotguns. A cheek riser is included to enhance use with optics. To facilitate slick handling, the M3000 Tactical includes oversize controls by default including an oversized charging handle, bolt release and safety. In a similar manner the loading port is opened to make loading shells a breeze.
