A male model has been arrested and charged after a man was fatally stabbed in the Bronx, New York.
On Sunday, Nov. 10, at approximately 2:23 p.m. local time, the New York City Police Department (NYPD) “responded to a 911 call of a male stabbed inside of 384 Grand Concourse, within the confines of the 40 Precinct,” a statement obtained by PEOPLE confirmed.
“Upon arrival, officers observed a 35-year-old male with a stab wound to the chest,” police said, adding that the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene and a knife had been recovered.
NYPD identified the deceased as Kadeem Grant, 35, before confirming that model Dynus Saxon, 20, had been arrested on Monday, Nov. 11 at 12:25 p.m. within the confines of the 40th precinct in connection with the killing.

Police confirmed to PEOPLE that Saxon is facing charges of second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree. NYPD also said the suspect had been hospitalized following the incident.
Saxon’s Instagram profile features photos of him attending premieres including July’s Deadpool & Wolverine N.Y.C. event, as well as modeling for publications such as Vogue Italia and L’Officiel and work he has done with brands such as Levi’s.
The model still has One Management tagged in his bio on the page, but the agency told PEOPLE in an email that “Dynus is not represented by us and has no association with us.”
